After ten years working as a freelance illustrator in New York I was asked to relocate to Los Angeles to work on film projects, two of which won Academy Awards for best makeup effects. My passion for storytelling is what motivates me to work with directors to help visualize their vision.
For the past 23 years I have created storyboards, conceptual designs, animation and illustrations for preproduction with advertising and feature films.
The process of pre-visualization and the collaboration with producers and directors is an invaluable resource tool to help realize their vision and save with production costs; a standard in the presentation or "pitch" of scripts or ad campaigns. Storyboarding is a comprehensive framework with the complex aspects of film making and its execution of special effects and CGI.
As an illustrator it has always been my primary way to tell stories.
